The Devotion Of Bayezid To His Mother

Once there was a small boy named Bayezid. His mother was ill. One night he was studying by the side of the bed of his mother. All on a sudden, his mother woke up. raised her head and told her son to give her a glass of water. Bayezid went to the kitchen to bring water. But he found the pitcher empty. The boy was in a fix. Suddenly he remembered that there was a well at the other end of the locality. It was midnight. He left home with a pitcher in his hand. He filled the pitcher and came back home. He went to his mother. In the meantime his mother had fallen asleep. He did not disturb his ailing mother. He kept sitting beside her bed with the glass of water in hand. In the morning his mother woke up. She forgot what she told her son before falling asleep. She became astonished to see her son standing with the glass of water beside her bed. She Drank water and blessed her son from the core of her heart.
